Z88DK Serial for Amstrad - Driver for Amstrad/Pace RS232?

Post by tschak909 »

Is there a driver that works for the Amstrad/PACE RS232?

If not, is there an emulator that emulates either the Booster or STI devices, so that I can complete my port of PLATOTerm for the Amstrad CPC?

Just so you know what I'm porting, I've recently completed a port of it to the ZX Spectrum.

And the main website is here:

I have everything but the I/O running on the Amstrad target, would love to get a boost in this.

Thanks in advance,

no and no (at least I'm not aware of valid emulators) . the new driver can be added, do you have sample code or docs?

no, I currently do not. I'll try to find some sample code though. I'm just someone who is porting C code to a bunch of different systems.

Here's a good page with data sheets etc on the interface:
http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Amstrad ... _Interface

It seems to be based on z Z8470 DART, and using an 8253 for a baud clock.
